Where is Cara now? NYC for a week, then down to Washington, DC and right back on up again. An apple a day as they say!

Colorado Snowflakes and Adventures in Neder-Nederland.

May 19, 2011

wild mountain smokehouse

Went up to Nederland again for dinner (Wild Mountain Smokehouse. Mmmmmmm. Is all I gotta say. Try the seared tuna app. So good.). It was lightly sprying where we live, on Boulder Canyon. As we creeped up in altitude, the rain became snow. As I gazed in awe in every direction at the freshly white capped trees and land, I thought: I’m SO happy to be in HERE, in a heated car…with a TOASTY ass. (heated seats)

Visiting cold places, doable. Living through it, for me? IMPOSSIBLE! I wish it’d warm up already so I can do a trail or two and get some sweet photoshoots in. Everyone says, this is out of character for this time of year. Great. My first time to Colorado and she’s being hormonal!

After a scrumptious meal, we headed back down. The snow REALLY began to fall in all sizes. It was really cool. The darkess through the trees and the light of the headlights reflecting on each falling glob of snow was mesmerizing. I imagined having a strobe of different color lights as beams and how utterly AWESOME the visual would be! (The raver in me)

It was like being in one of those space wars video games. In a way, I’m glad it has snowed during my visit. However, it’s TIME TO WARM UP and DRY UP NOW!!

Hello!?!?!!??!
